Michelle has been with Lee Institute of Skin & Laser for over 17 years. Michelle brings with her 8 years of healthcare experience from working at a local hospital in Decatur. Her combined years of experience has given her the knowledge to be an expert in her position of Administrative Coordinator, Insurance and Billing Specialist.
Administrative Associate, Transcriptionist
Susan is new to the field of dermatology, but with her journalism and business background, she has transitioned well into her position of transcriptionist and has been a wonderful addition to The Lee Institute of Skin & Laser team since 2012. Susan received her BS in Mass Communication and Business Administration from Illinois State University. The best thing about her new career path is the opportunity to learn each and every day the intricacies of dermatology and how skin health affects your overall health.
Kimberly greets all patients at our front desk, ensuring that all charts and paperwork are complete and in order prior to their visit with the provider. Kimberly makes it her mission to really listen to each patient and treat them with dignity and respect. Kimberly’s number one goal is to make everyone who walks through our doors feel welcome.
Kimberly joined the staff of Lee Institute of Skin and Laser in 2010. Her previous experience in the banking industry gave her a solid customer service background to provide and assist patients as well as support the business office.
LPN, Licensed Practical Nurse
Tracey has worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse since 1990. She has worked with patients aged 1 to 101. Tracey’s passion has always been caring for people, which is why she was drawn to Lee Institute of Skin & Laser. Originally from Louisiana, Tracy now lives and works in Decatur and has been with The Lee Institute of Skin and Laser since 2006. Working closely with patients, family, and staff allows her passion in the medical field to flourish.
Kasie joined the staff of Lee Institute of Skin & Laser in 2010. Kasie has over 8 years of nursing experience which includes dermatology, geriatrics, and rehab services. Her detail and caring manner builds relationships with patients in all age groups. Kasie graduated from Richland Community College with an Associated of Science, Registered Nurse.
Esthetician & Medical Technician
Crystal recently joined the staff of Lee Institute of Skin and Laser in the summer of 2016. She specializes in cutting edge treatments as Microdermabrasion, Microneedling, Dermaplaning and Hair Removal as well as post procedural skin care. Crystal is an excellent addition to Dr. Lee’s team.
Crystal, brings her warm patient centered approach and nearly 14 years experience in esthetics. Graduating from the School of Esthetics & Cosmetology in Mattoon, Illinois. She utilities the latest cutting edge anti-aging skin treatments and is consistently educating herself on the latest skin care procedures for her clients/patients.
Mrs. Veronica Lee
Mrs. Lee is the Office Manager for Lee Institute of Skin & Laser. Mrs. Lee has overall responsibility for daily operations, practice profitability, financial analysis, insurance and patient accounts receivable management, patient relations, and supervision of all professional, technical, and administrative staff.
LPN, Licensed Practical Nurse
Michelle recently returned to Lee Institute of Skin and Laser in the spring of 2017. She earned her LPN from Capital Area School of Practical Nursing in 1997. Michelle enjoys the opportunity of assisting patients reach their optimal health. Michelle’s previous health experience spans over 19 years in geriatrics and rehab services.
We are happy to announce the newest additions to Lee Institute of Skin & Laser, Natalie as Medical Assistant to Dr. Lee’s team. Originally from Decatur IL, Natalie received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Columbia College in Columbia, MO. She will be the team’s liaison between physicians and patients. She will assist in patient care including: facilitating patient flow, rooming patients, taking vital signs, and starting history she will also be responsible for patient education on treatment plans including medication.
